| You've probably noticed by now that I don't post on here much.
Well, this is the official announcement: Xanga is no more. I blog elsewhere, and it's just silly to keep up with communities that I'm no longer a part of.
So, where to find me? Well, I'm on Facebook, and I occasionally post on my art account on dA, and then there's my fandom journals, but that's it. Those are the places I belong now.
But if you need to get a hold of me and don't have my email, leave a comment. I'll get that, and reply when necessary. Ja ne, minna~

| Dude, I hardly update this anymore. Sorry folks. XD; I'm just busy elsewhere, that's all.
Umm... I'm good. I found a little red Chevy that is currently getting me from point A to point B, and I'll be hitting the doctor's offices starting tomorrow for my knees, back, and neck. But no worries; I'm not really in pain, just sore. >> And with joints that make queer noises.
Tidbit of the night: you know you've got a good friend when you can both be up at 2 AM ordering free samples of manpons and various other free things and talking about carts, soda, what animal our hair would be, and toilet paper squares. X3 Especially when we both have work/school in the morning... Haha. I highly recommend random crack for whenever you feel like your life has become too sane. >:D

| Meh. I am so sore right now...
I had planned to be at my
parents' house yesterday, baking something to take along to go to a
friend's place last night. Instead I am sitting here in my apartment,
still tallying injuries and being rather... stuck. XD; I didn't make it
more than three blocks from my place on my short road trip when
somebody in the other lane decided to make a left turn. Through my car.
*grumbles* I have a lot of choice words for that person right now, none
of which need expressing.
Nya, and I'm feeling pretty OK at this
point, so don't worry about me. I just like to share my war wounds. ;D
I came away a lot better off than I have in the past. Only the tiniest
bit of whiplash, which is nice. A bruised nose and a fat lip from the
airbag (which was an interesting experience in itself, if I hadn't been
in so much pain at the time to appreciate it), complimentary seat belt
bruises, and various other little ones. And then there are my knees. If
she had hit me any harder than she did, I probably wouldn't have been
able to walk away; the impact pretty much forced my whole dash forward,
and my knees got jammed so hard into it that they are cut and scraped
to hell, not counting the deep bruises that aren't quite visible yet.
*wry laugh* Thankfully I don't seem to be having any trouble walking,
but steps are a bit of a *censor cough*.
And so I wave goodbye
to the car that I've had less than a year and rather liked, poor baby.
Looks like the insurance company is going to be a pain in the butt to
deal with as well, and I'll be lucky if the other person's pays for the
towing and related crap. So... I somehow need to find another car now.
One that is relatively inexpensive and runs well, which is a
combination that will probably be next to impossible to find, so I'll
probably have to forego the former. Stupid money. I know something good
will come out of this, but until it happens, it can be hard to
appreciate.
Of course I lost my glasses in the car. And my pillow and grooming supplies were all in
there, so I had to make do with a blanket to sleep on last night, and
my short hair is now all puffy and untamable. *laughs and shakes her
head* If those are the least of my worries, I'm doing pretty good.
Hopefully I can bum a ride from somebody to go and get that stuff
picked up.
But... it looks as though I will have plenty of time
to recuperate, write, and in general be a lazy bum for the next few
days, since I had taken off work to make a weekend of visiting people.
I dug out all of my writing stuff, which was surprisingly more than I
remembered having, and I actually got quite a bit of work done so far.
Writing keeps my thoughts grounded and non-worrying, so I'll take
advantage of my oddly-aroused muses to get some work done.
I
just got hooked up to the internet last night, though, so at least I’ve
got it to keep me distracted now. *keeps her eye on the silver lining,
as somebody continually tells her to do* | | |
